There are 366,050 BVI Business Companies on the Register as of 30th June 2023.
How many new companies were incorporated in BVI last quarter?
The number of new companies incorporated in the Q2 2023 was 4,518 (Q1 2023: 5,830).
Is BVI becoming more or less popular as an offshore jurisdiction?
The total number of companies registered in BVI declined in the most recent quarter from 372,439 in Q1 2023 to 366,050 in Q2 2023.
The number of new companies incorporated in the most recent quarter also fell when compared to the previous quarter (Q1 2023: 5,830) and to the same quarter in the previous year (Q2 2022: 6,634).
What is the country of origin of companies incorporated in BVI?
The FSC does not release information of the source countries incorporating in BVI. However, according to a press release by BVI Finance in March 2023, Asia is the biggest driver with roughly 57% originating from the continent, while Europe and North America combined accounted for only 17%.
